Anne Francis

Anne has been a professional pet stylist for over 20 years, joining the team at The Village Groomer & Pet Supple in Walpole, Mass in 1995.  The Village Groomer received Best Independent Retail Grooming Salon twice, by the Cardinal Crystal Achievement Awards.  Anne was the recipient of the Cardinal Crystal Award for Journalist of the Year for her work on the instructional article in Grooming Business Magazine, “The Grooming Table”.  She has been a member of Groom Team USA for 2014, 2015, and 2016 and finished in the top 5 of the last 2 seasons.  She has been recognized for her incredible scissor work, as well as the “Taxi Award” at the NEPGP for the best expression and character with a mixed breed.  Anne is excited to share her knowledge she has gathered over the years as she transitions into being an educator in the industry that she loves

Kathryn Dixon

Kathryn, a Nationally Certified Master Groomer and industry educator, has been involved in the grooming industry since 2006. She owned and operated a mobile fleet in Rhode Island from 2015 to 2019 before relocating to Maryland and served on the Rhode Island Professional Pet Groomers Association in multiple capacities between 2015 and 2017. She is an active competitor in both US and Canadian grooming competitions. In her free time Kathryn shows various breeds in the Terrier, Sporting, and toy rings.

Helen Schaefer

Helen Schaefer NCMG, is an internationally award winning, nationally ranked Open level competitive groomer with nearly 15 years of experience. Her second career, Helen has worked in all facets of the grooming industry, from corporate salons to mobile, even owning her own business, The Groom Studio, that made it to the Top of the Philly Hot List after being open only 20 months. She is a 2020 Barkleigh Honor Nominee for Up and Coming Speaker of the Year. Helen is best known for her resilience in the ring, wealth of practical knowledge and giving sound and genuine advice. She lends this voice to her personal takes on many industry topics every other Sunday on her popular video blog #GroomerProblems, featured in the Facebook Group, Pet Groomer Town Hall.  Instagram: @another_groomer
