Kathryn Dixon

Kathryn, a Nationally Certified Master Groomer and educator for Chris Christensen Systems, has been involved in the grooming industry since 2006. She owned and operated a mobile fleet in Rhode Island from 2015 to 2019 before relocating to Maryland and served on the Rhode Island Professional Pet Groomers Association in multiple capacities between 2015 and 2017. She is an active competitor in both US and Canadian grooming competitions. In her free time Kathryn shows various breeds in the Terrier, Sporting, and toy rings. 

Michelle Danielle Worthy

Michelle has been in the pet care industry for almost 30 years, beginning her grooming career at the young age of 10.  Michelle is mainly self-taught.  Through perseverance and continued education, Michelle dove into the competition ring, quickly climbing to Open division.  Michelle Broadened her canvas to include the model dog, bringing home world champion titles for the USA Model Dog Team. 

Now known mainly for her work with color, coat carving, and classy freestyle designs, helping others continue their education and inspiring others around the world has become her passion.   

Michelle is an International Certified Master Groomer (ICMG), and Andis Educator, and Hydra Reference Groomer.  Previously, Michelle was a lead instructor at Nash Academy and member of the Kentucky State Grooming Team.

Helen Schaefer

Helen Schaefer NCMG, is an internationally award winning, nationally ranked Open level competitive groomer with nearly 15 years of experience. Her second career, Helen has worked in all facets of the grooming industry, from corporate salons to mobile, even owning her own business, The Groom Studio, that made it to the Top of the Philly Hot List after being open only 20 months. She is a 2020 Barkleigh Honor Nominee for Up and Coming Speaker of the Year. Helen is best known for her resilience in the ring, wealth of practical knowledge and giving sound and genuine advice. She lends this voice to her personal takes on many industry topics every other Sunday on her popular video blog #GroomerProblems, featured in the Facebook Group, Pet Groomer Town Hall.
